How To Start With Placement Preparation For Freshers : Step By Step Guide

How Fresher Can Start With Placement Preparation: Step By Step Guide.

Campus placements season is beginning for all freshers after semester 6 will get over. It is a golden opportunity for every student to get a placement in MNC (multinational company).

who am I? And Why I am writing this post?

I am Yash pursuing my BE degree in Information Technology stream. I am writing this post because I struggled a lot during my placement period but in the end, I am landed a job in a very good company.

Below is Step by Step Guide for placement preparation mainly for Service-Based companies.

Step 1) Eligibility Criteria

Now You must be wondering why eligibility is on First. This is the only step that decides whether you are even qualified for the further rounds or not. According to my knowledge, most of the company has 60% criteria throughout the academics such as SSC, HSC, and under graduation.

So, Make sure that you scored well to fulfill company criteria.

Step 2) Aptitude Round

You can give Aptitude Round, Once you fulfill the company eligibility criteria. This Round one of the most elimination rounds where most of the students get eliminated due to lack of practice and guidance.

Aptitude round is for checking whether the student has the capability to tackle a problem or the student has problem-solving skills.

I will make another separate post on Aptitude so, do not worry.

Step 3) Technical interview Round

After the Clearing aptitude round, you have to face two face interview rounds in which they check your technical knowledge, your soft skill, problem-solving skill, programming skill so on, and so forth.

There will be either one technical round or 2 technical rounds depends upon company to company.

Step 4) HR Round

Last and final round but one of the most crucial round. In this round, they are going to check your point of view towards the company, your soft skills. Basically, you have to sell yourself in this round.

If you have questions about how to do this; you can always ask your questions below. Wishing you all the best for your upcoming campus placements.
